Fun Portrait Lens

This lens isn't the sharpest wide open as many reviewers have mentioned. But if you're using it for portraits, the swirly bokeh wide open under the correct conditions is good to draw your attention to the subject. If you don't have light objects in the background, the off center blur is still good to draw attention to your subject. The shallow depth of field is good for portraits.

Exactly what I paid for.

This is an old school lens that will give your photographs an analog feel. It does exactly what it advertises it does - nothing more, nothing less. I find it exceptionally good for nighttime photography.

Delicious swirls

Does as promised super premium build and tasty tasty swirls. I use it with a focal reducer which makes it too big for holidays . Wish they made a x-mount version similar to the Helios 44 for this reason.

fantastic retro lens

I have several lenses with clinical sharpness and contrast but the 75mm 1.5 has something those don't. Character. Highly recommended for anyone who can appreciate the character a lens like this brings to their photography.
