If you want to use the filter and the square lens hood together, please make sure that the outer diameter of the 52mm filter is equal to or less than 54mm when purchasing the filter (ask the filter store)
If the outside diameter of the filter exceeds 54 mm, the lens hood cannot be installed.
If the outside diameter of the filter is 54 mm or less, the lens hood can be installed.

Ideal focal length for portraits
56mm on APS-C is equivalent to 84mm on a full-frame camera, which is great for portrait photography. And it can highlight your subject and create a smooth blur effect in the background.

Superb
Fast shipping. Great lens. Sharp and reliable autofocus. The lens hood is super stylish
TTArtisan are the Sigma from the past, what exactly do I mean by that? Coming with a lucrative price tag for those not wanting to spent their whole life savings on older lenses, whilst being at least on par if not even superior to them... hell yeah! I wasn't expecting this level of a sharpness and AF speed/accuracy from a lens this affordable. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
IQ - 9.5/10, deducing 0.5 for just a bit too much of a softness around the edges wide open. however it adds to the charecter of the lens
Size, form factor - 10/10, compact and lightweight with a premium feel to it, since it's a metal construction, + the added lens hood adds to the nostalgia.
All in all, you really cannot go wrong with this lens. It truly is a wonderful surprise and I absolutely love its character. Hoping for a 16mm prime or a f2.8 zoom lens in the near future, I'll definitely be on a lookout to buy it, hehe!

Loved it for its build, size in addition to great picture quality. I just don't need to lose the lens cap as it holds the key for all upgrades.
